The other problem it still has is that the games that were the big titles at launch like Crackdown still haven't released and frankly aren't looking so hot, some were cancelled like Scalebound, some ended up being pretty disappointing like Halo 5 (which I actually like playing, the story was the issue) or Sea of Thieves. With the X this has been resolved as they fixed the power issue without leaving launch Xbone buyers out of the picture which I appreciated. The console's main issue was that the hardware was compromised for Kinect and non-game functionality and the already weaker hardware was crippled. I skipped the X1X because I don't want to replace the console every few years, but I'd buy one in a heartbeat if I didn't already have my launch Xbone. If the next gen Xbox offers more play anywhere titles and carries BC forward I'll pick one up on day one to replace my old Xbone. I just wish more games supported play-anywhere. I also like that I can stop a PC game at my desk or in the living room if someone wants to use the big TV, then fire it back up in the other room and keep going. It currently plays multiplats better than it's competition, and although some people seem to cast the PC/Xbox argument against the Xbone, I like the fact that I can pack up my Xbone, take it to the cabin, and pick up where I left off with a game. It will play the games from it's predecessors. The controller is by far my favorite controller. The Xbone had a rough start, and the exclusives list is all sequels for the most part but it does have some strengths. Nostalgia doesn't play into it for me, as I was playing the NES when it first came out and MS-DOS games before that. The OG Xbox was the starting point for a lot of franchises that I still like to this day, the X360 brought even more and had every multi-plat title locked down, it also had a really good controller (minus the d-pad). One was great for it's short life but the other is still here so it's too early to really call it.

OG xbox and PS2 were both very good consoles, while xbox one is the worst xbox generation so far IMO. Besides these games most multiplatform games looked better on xbox OG compared to PS2 (GTA 3, VC). Some games were also available on PS2, for example Splinter Cell games and Ghost Reacon 2, but graphics was so downgraded to the extreme, so it was like playing different game. Halo 1-2, Fable, Splinter Cell 1-4, Enclave, Ralli Sport Challenge 2, Unreal Championship, Yager, JSRF, Brute Force, PGR2, Conker, Morrowind, Jade Empire, Ninja Gaiden, Dead Or Alive 3, Riddick, Panzer Dragoon Orta, SW KOTOR 1-2, Doom 3, Ghost Reacon 2, Max Payne 1-2, Grabbed By The Ghoulies, Dino Crisis 3 (it was much different compared to previous games but still I liked it very much), Crimson Skies. It's GPU was modified geforce 3 (it has 2x vertex shader units and clocks like Geforce 4) and when games were made for it graphics looked like next gen compared to PS2. Xbox OG (classic) on the other hand was very capable machine even compared to high end PC when it was released and many great games were released on it. That's why MS push BC so much, because they know xbox one games arnt as good. Xbox one hardware was weak (compared to PC) right from the start, and very few good exclusive games were released on it after so many years.
